It is time to register for the 2012 Educators' Conference.

General Information

The Educators Conference begins on Sunday, November 18, at 6:30 PM, with registration beginning at 3:00 PM. A banquet for all Educators begins at 6:30 PM on Sunday evening. The opening worship service is on Monday at 2:30 PM

Theme

I Corinthians 9:19-23, "Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing, serves as the theme. The conference will focus on Professional Learning Communities.

Sectionals

The first two sectionals on Monday will be grouped by Professional Learning Communities. Each educator will be asked to prepare a one-page teaching concept or idea to share with other teachers at the sectional. Educators will be given the number of copies to bring after registration is completed. On Tuesday educators may choose from a variety of technology sectionals.

Administrators - here is a sample table you can use to gather the information you need from your staff.

Registration Fee

The $115 registration fee applies to all participants. The cost of the conference for Student Teachers, Interns and Emeritus is $85. If a guest wants to participate in meals only, the cost is $70 for the Sunday evening banquet and a lunch on Monday.

Administrators, please complete the Conference Registration Form online for the educators from your school and send a check to the Missouri District Office. The deadline for returning the form and check to the District Office is Monday, September 24, 2012.

Cancellation Policy

A full refund of the registration will be given if cancelled prior to October 31. From November 1 to November 15 a $50 refund will be given. After November 15 no refunds will be given because final numbers must be given to the Lodge of the Four Seasons.

Lodging Information

Each administrator makes room reservations for all conference attendees. The District Office is not responsible for arranging lodging. If you have any lodging questions call Lodge of the Four Seasons at 1-800-843-5253. Reservations will be accepted no later than October 23, 2012.

Guest Room $76 + tax
Two Bedroom Suite $219 + tax
Three Bedroom club $299 + tax

The applicable taxes are 7.795% state tax plus a county lodging tax of 3%. The state tax may be negated by providing a tax exempt letter. Reservations are from 4:00 PM the day of arrival until 11:00 AM the day of departure.
